For those of you who've answered some of the recent wgt loss threads and have followed that TV '600 lb Weight Life' show, they've been running followup stories on some of the participants (remember the gal with the neon green hair dye?!).
The participants are 'facially' recognizable, but boy, are they skinny now. But not without complications. With skin surgery, they're coming up with significant surgical issues , pre & post op. Malnutrition, anemia, hypoprotein, psych issues, divorce, family concerns, etc.
VERY interesting aspects from the opposite far-end of the continuum.
Just a word of recommendation to follow along if you're interested in long-term bariatric management. (On Wednesday nights and some daytime hours too.)
