Westminster CRNA 2020

Hey all! I have submitted my application to Westminster CRNA for 2020! I have talked to the school and they said that we should be hearing about interviews in October. Anybody else apply or waiting to hear from another school?

I got an interview too! It was an email. Oct 14 too, only one week away!! This is short travel notice, it said to let them know if I’m not available so they can try and fit me into another date and time, but I don’t know if that would be good to do??

They just called me. Said that they were only doing 30 interviews. Flights are silly expensive now...and the only timeframe they gave me was when I am already working! I mean I am going to have to figure it out otherwise all that work was for nothing, but it is going to be a LOT of scrambling to get things done.

OMG! I just check my voicemail and they did call too I just didn’t see it because I went straight to my email first! Only 30 interviews?! They take around 20! Flights are expensive, especially for nonstop!

She happened to mention that she had 30 people total to call today and this is the day she is calling out interviews. But yes, it is SO expensive to fly out right now. Also not nearly as much time to mentally prepare as I would have liked either, but perhaps that is better? Honestly when I asked if there was other dates available, she only gave me a different time on the same day. I have to move two days that I'm working in order to make it happen, which I was lucky enough to find someone to cover my shifts right away. I already bought the flights and I am going to be there less than 24 hours.

That’s probably true! Don’t have a long period of time to stress over it and let the anticipation build up! I’d have to do some research but I’m not sure about their interview process but I don’t expect it to be lengthy, they all seem to be 30 minutes or less!

I received an interview as well. Mine is also on the 14th! Super quick but I was not going to turn this opportunity down since it’s my number one school. My flights were super expensive too. Maybe I’ll see y’all there!

Ahh! Congrats guys! Feeling pretty anxious because with only 30 calls they're probably done and I didn't get a call - but good luck!

I wouldn't give up hope just yet. I think every call is going to take a bit of time because I'm sure everyone is a bit surprised by the fact it is only one week out. I know I personally was trying to figure out how I could make it work while I was on the phone with her so it took a bit of extra time. I would give it a few hours.

I am guilty. Got an interview for the 14 called back right away and got it rescheduled. Oops. Starting to think that was not the smartest choice. It would just be hard for me since I work weekends... no one wants to work weekends lol

I called today and they said that my application is currently under review. They have not made all the calls yet. Maybe there is still hope!
