It appears you haven't researched the college very well. They have different programs for different things in medicine. What are you looking to train in?
Obviously I was referring about the LVN program since this is a nursing website (sorry for not being clear about it in the first place) and actually I have already spoken to a rep at the college for the LVN program and done my research on the website, however, the rep will not provide me with specific information about the program (like, start date, length of program, course work, clinicals... etc.) She just gave me a list of orientation dates for me to attend that will explain all about the program. Same goes with their website, not very helpful, just a list of orientation dates. Since this school is not close to my house, I thought I'd find a fellow graduate or current student of WestMed to get their opinions and feedback before I actually go there.
No, sorry, it wasn't obvious. There is a CNA program there also, and lots of CNAs here.
Your first question should be "Are you accredited?" If it's a quickie program that is not accredited, you should stay FAR away from it.
It doesn't surprise me that they won't give you any info. I've been trying to get some info from a surgery center about Lasik for my son, and they won't answer my questions either. I have to take him for a consult before they will tell me anything.
