Western University of Health Sciences (WesternU) MSN-E Fall 2023

Hi everyone! Hoping to connect with people who applied to Western U's MSN-E program for Fall 2023! I know we're supposed to start hearing back sometime in January, hoping to get insight if anyone has heard back yet? 

Did anyone who went to any of the EAO days get an invite for a formal interview? I think tomorrow is the last day of interviews. I am unsure what it means if we don't get an invite to a formal interview. On the EAO packet they provided it states we would be offered admission or invited to a formal interview. I guess I am just a bit confused about it?

Nope! I didn't get an invite to a formal interview after EAO. I was curious about that too. Im assuming we will hear back once they are all done with interviews.

Feels weird that no one from the first EAO day heard back. I was also there on January 26th. I got into UCLA (and officially enrolled!) but we're required to make a decision by March 8th -- Seems like they're going to lose quality applicants by waiting so long to release decisions as other programs will lock us in first. Anyways, good luck to those still waiting to hear back from Western and other programs!

I tried calling the admissions counselor this past Thursday but no one picked up so I left a message. Haven't received a call back yet (I went to the EOA day in Jan too)

I was reading the forums from previous years and it seems like people who attended EAO days have a pretty good chance of getting admitted.

When I had my formal interview at WU there was a person there who said they were prior EAO but didn't do well so they had to interview in person. I did not receive an EAO but I did receive a standard interview, I hope that helps.

@yrilla, @leensterrrr, @M_sylv, @zr_nurse, @Liz7 Did any of you guys attend EAO and/or regular interviews? When did you go? 

Just trying to gauge if they're accepting people by their interview date or if it's randomized
