Hi,

I wanted to start a new thread for Western University of Health Science FNP 2014 Fall. I couldn't see anything for MSN/FNP so I decided to open a thread. I applied as well and anxiously anticipating for the waiting game. If anybody applied for this one, chime in and share anything you know about admission status, etc about this school, just anything :)

I applied for this program. Anxiously awaiting an update...I actually received an email from the admissions counselor today stating "your file is ready for evaluation by the department...you will be contacted by phone or receive a letter regarding your status". Have you heard anything yet?

I have not heard anything yet either. My friend whos already in the program in his 1 year said he got the result in April...

I emailed Alberto Espejo (sp?) the admissions coordinator a couple weeks ago. He had told me decisions would be sent out mid-April. Then I got an email yesterday saying it will be an additional 2-3 weeks (1st or 2nd week of May!!). I hope that's not the case because at least one program I got accepted into requires intent to enroll by April 30th.

I still haven't gotten any emails since the completion of application... doesn't sound too good on my end!

i think it's only because I emailed him first. it sucks they are taking so long because I will have to commit to another school before then...I like to have all my options, so that doesn't seem fair

I just received an e-mail stating I was accepted into the fall 2014 program. I still had to send an e-mail to the school. The acceptance letter was a little confusing to me. I wanted some questions answered before I fully commitment and pay the $150 to hold my spot.

I got accepted as well but after looking at tuition I decided on CSU Long Beach. Good luck!
