Hello all,

Who else is applying to the MSN Entry level 2016? I've decided to create this thread as I have not seen any new threads for 2016 start date.

Yeah, I just spoke with my friend who is in the program now and she said a couple of the girls in her cohort got an EAOD for feb. So we still have a good chance ! :)

Can you ask her about EAOD and how we can increase our chances of getting in? How will they truly get to know me if its not an interview?!

Pomona area near the school is not a very safe neighborhood I heard. I was told by a Western U alumnus that it is kept safe by the City because it is by far one of its biggest income generators, so the level of security in and around campus is very high. You may want to try the Claremont area which is very close to the campus (around 5 miles) and is also a generally safe area. I think there is also a metrolink train you can take from there that brings you right at the campus as there is a train station on campus. Hope this helps. Good luck on your search.

Are all these interview invites just for early admits? There will still be interview invites rolling out throughout the months right? I haven't heard anything yet :(

I believe that they're just sending out early invites for now. I didn't get mine yet and I am too a bit nervous as well, but I hear that people get invites later in the game so don't worry. These forums are a blessing a curse. Right now around his time, it's a curse because everybody is anxious about the results and some are getting responses fast than others. Just be patient guys.

I tried to email my admissions counselor and all i got was this:

The status of your application is complete and ready for committee review. If you are selected for interview you will be notified by email one to two weeks prior to the interview date.

Master of Science in Nursing – Entry

Interview Dates:

Thursday, January 14

Friday, January 15

Wednesday, January 20

Wednesday, February 24

Thursday, February 25

Friday, February 26

No, some of these interviews are regular interviews not early invitations. So keep your head up :) There is still time and they have sent out early acceptance invitations for February as well! Still a chance! :)

I just received this email:

"Your file is ready for evaluation by the department.

After your file has been evaluated, you will be contacted by phone or receive a letter regarding your status."

Did you guys get this too?? It's weird my file is just ready for evaluation now when everyone else has been receiving interview invites already! Maybe because I submitted pretty late.
