If we do not get an interview, will we receive a rejection email?

Last year it took 1-2 weeks after people started getting interviews before getting an email rejection. It sucks because even though you know you're getting rejected you're left in limbo thinking there is still a chance.

Does that mean they could still send out more invites over the next week or two..? Or do they only send them out in one wave?

I guess hypothetically they could, but honestly I went back and looked at the last 2 years of threads like this on all nurses and my take from that was if you didn't get an interview invite same day as they were sent out, you were either rejected (pending official rejection email) or put on hold if someone drops their interview.

Got my interview invite too! Seems the format will be different than last year.

What was the format like last year?

It was similar to most other schools in that you met a few current students at the beginning and then they brought you into a room with different faculty and asked a mix of clinical and EI style questions. Probably took 30-45 mins at most. It's a different program director this year though.

They might do some interviews invites in waves however with the email it states that you have to respond to their email with an "accept or decline" in addition to returning a form by this coming Wednesday 10/22 if you want to have an opportunity to interview in November. Hopefully if they are sending out anymore, they will be coming very soon.

Best of luck to everyone!

Declined my interview as I was accepted to my number one program. Hopefully that frees up a spot for someone else to interview, good luck!

Congratulations!! That's really exciting!

This is my first cycle and the only school I'm applying to because with my family and how rooted we are in WNC, I can't go anywhere else so here's to hoping I find the same success that you have!

I've never interviewed with a CRNA program before since it's my first time taking a stab at it. I'm certainly trying to mitigate expectations but do you have any insight into what might be best to know, prepare for, brush up on, etc?

Thanks for doing that! Some if us will only get a shot by people doing this and I truly respect it!

Anyone who didn't get a day one interview hear back yet?
