  1. My rejection letter last year was November 9th, I went back and checked my email.
  2. I got this too, not sure if it means anything, I will say I didn't get one last year. But I also don't have a WCU email to log in to it.
  3. I guess hypothetically they could, but honestly I went back and looked at the last 2 years of threads like this on all nurses and my take from that was if you didn't get an interview invite same day as they were sent out, you were either rejected (pending official rejection email) or put on hold if someone drops their interview.
  4. Last year it took 1-2 weeks after people started getting interviews before getting an email rejection. It sucks because even though you know you're getting rejected you're left in limbo thinking there is still a chance.
  5. Congratulations, I wonder if the interviews invited are in waves? I haven't heard anything yet.
  6. I hear ya, I'm in a similar but opposite boat, my first degree was also bio and I did poorly about a decade ago. For what it's worth the WCU program director told me science GPA is only calculated by your grade in A&P 1&2, gen chem and microbio. So your old bio science grades should matter that much for this particular school. My last 60 hours are a 3.8 and my science is a 3.5, but my total cumulative which apparently shouldn't matter for this app is a 3.0. My gre wasn't good tho, a 292. I only took it once and underestimated how much I should have studied LOL..
  7. What do you think was your downfall, and what are your plans to improve?
  8. Still in limbo, no rejection, no communication, anyone else hear anything?
  9. I do have many years of volunteer work as a camp counselor for kids with cancer, I was planning to speak on it during an interview, but I guess in hindsight I should have included it on my resume, but I was running out space and it felt so compact and dense as it was. I did include my time on the unit council, as well as mentioned about being CRRT certified and Ultrasound guided IV certified in my hospital. I'm happy to hear your statement about the GRE though. I dread retaking it LOL.
  10. So far I haven't heard anything, but considering what everyone else is saying, I suspect no interview for me, I did poorly on the GRE with not enough time to retake it, but I will retake it this year and hope for a better chance next year at acceptance. 3.8 GPA (last 60 hours); science 3.5 GRE 292 2 years MICU trauma 1 2 years gen tele med surg, with charge experience CCRN and what I liked to think was a damn good professional statement that I put a lot of time and effort into. I figured my GRE would be my breaking point but I took a shot since I didn't have enough time to retake.
  11. Anyone who got an interview mind sharing what they made on the GRE?
