I didn't see a thread on this one yet, so I am starting one. Good luck to everyone applying!!
NurseCvicu said:Correct. Basically we're on the waitlist. He also said "it's not uncommon for people to drop out last minute"
I wouldn't count on that historically from the school. This happened to me back in 2022 - 23 where I was waitlisted. For the may 23 cohort they had zero applicants pull out so there was no waitlist spots open. Yet they almost always had multiple prior to that year. The school has a 12% acceptance rate so it's definitely tough.
all that to say, the following year I heard nothing and was on some arbitrary "interview waitlist" that you guys are referring to. Nothing became of it and both of these years I heard nothing until may right when the program is supposed to start.
RNMSICU said:What do you mean style - same as most interviews. Get to know you, why CRNA, background, clinical questions, emotional intelligence questions, that's it. Have to prepare the same for all schools
Hmmm you may prepare the same but styles are different. For example, having an allotted time and splitting half of the time for EI, and the other half with different people for clinical. Or, in front of a panel and the whole time is spent bouncing back and forth between EI and clinical.

Is it like case scenarios? Or just rapid fire questions?

Well, I guess that's better than being rejected.
