Hello! Starting a thread for those applying this year to Western Carolina University DNP Nurse Anesthesia program, class of 2023.


I'll be submitting my application soon. I hope I spark some attention during their early application review on May 31st. Official deadline is September 15th.

Haven't heard back yet. I spoke to the office asking about my position on the wait list and was told they could not give that information out. They said until they send out a definitive no, there is still a chance. ??

Okay well at least we know there's still a chance! Although it's torture just hoping my phone will ring. Did they not tell you where you were on the list when they told you you were on it? They told me I'm second.

Honestly, I don't recall. I was in the middle of a long drive to another interview, so my brain wasn't all there haha. I sort of remember hearing I was at or near the top, but I wasn't told a specific number.

Yeah, I get what you mean. My ears kind of did a tunnel vision thing too lol. Fingers crossed for the both of us that some of the other accepted applicants went with other schools!

@pathtocrna I got an email this morning saying this:

"Invitations for interviews will be going out very soon. The process is expected to be slower this year, please bear with us. Please be sure to monitor your email for further updates. In addition, if you received a Waitlist Notification, you are still being considered."
