Hello! Starting a thread for those applying this year to Western Carolina University DNP Nurse Anesthesia program, class of 2023.


I'll be submitting my application soon. I hope I spark some attention during their early application review on May 31st. Official deadline is September 15th.

My best friend has been emailing back and forth with the director. They are STILL in the review process for interviews. There's hope.

A friend in the program told me that they had the most applications this fall than in previous years. Still, over a week is a long time to make a decision.

Oh boy, haha. Back to checking emails q30 min ?

I honestly thought their response was pretty quickly, given the other program I have applied to took two weeks to send out emails.

Did your best friend get anymore info?

Yeah I thought it was fast too. Maybe MK had a really early application??

But no my friend had something missing from her application and the director emailed her about it this morning. At the end he said "We will still consider you for admission. If you get an interview/accepted we will discuss."
