Western Carolina DNP 2019

Published

Just wanted to start a thread for anyone else applying to Western Carolina for the CRNA-DNP program set to start in May '19. I submitted my application yesterday....and the wait begins.

Specializes in Cardiac ICU.

did anyone else hear anything? how's everyone preparing?

At this point it's like a bad breakup, give me my rejection letter already so I can move on.

You have an incredible sense of humor. We're in the same boat man (although I'm pretty sure we're taking on water). Keep your chin up, stay positive. Best of luck

I was just wondering how everybody's interview went. Has anyone heard anything yet?

I feel like it went okay, but haven't heard anything...

I feel like it could have gone a little better. Could have gone worse too! Haven't heard anything yet though...

The WCU DNP CRNA thread from last year stated they were told to expect to hear something within 1-2 weeks, but some received calls on their way back home. I hope we will hear something soon. I want to start planning!

They called on Tuesday for those who got in and people who were waitlisted!

Tuesday night? They were still interviewing Tuesday. If we haven't heard should we assume a no???

Yeah, they called Tuesday night after interviews were complete. Those who were accepted have until November 1st to submit their deposit to hold their seat. I'm assuming they will let everyone know a definite decision after they know how many of those who were accepted are holding their spot.

Do you work at WCU? How do you know they contacted everyone who got in or was waitlisted on Tuesday?
