Hi everyone. im new here..im from the philippines.. I need your help guys because im interested in going to western australia and I wanted to be a registered nurse there. by the way I'm a registered nurse also. I have read so many articles about applying for registration. Im confused with the different informations that i've been getting. Can you help me with the procedures on how to be a registered nurse in australia. I've also read that you need work experience to be able to apply with the western board of nursing, what if I dont have work experience because its so hard to find a nursing job here in our country can I still apply?

Go to this website: http://www.nmbwa.org.au/. This is the official website of the Nurses and Midwives Board of Western Australia. Truthful information is in there and you can just email the people in charge of the bridging programs if you have further inquiries.

hi. welcome to allnurses :typing

just a quick rundown of what you will need to apply in NMBWA:

b. IELTS at least 7.0 in each area

c. certificate of good standing (prc)

d. board certificate and prc license (copy)

e. TOR + RLE

f. proof of identity - passport, birth/marriage certificates (copy)

if found eligible, you will be advised to undertake a bridging program, from either of 3 providers.
