Hey, anyone is planning to take the TEAS for the fall 2021 nursing program at WCC? Is there anyone who took it this year? How difficult it is to get to the program? How many people applied this year and how many got in?

Any info would be appreciated!

Not sure what is the lowest score, but if you got 80 and up, then you have a great chance to get in.

Anyone take the TEAS for going into fall 2021?

I took it on the 17th. Did you?

19th but I scored a 74 unfortunately and probably won’t get in .. hope you did better

You did way better. I got a 72, I don't think it is good enough, But I still have hope.

I emailed them and they said they had many 80s and above so that’s why I lost hope.

Oh. I hope they still accept a few in the 70's.  If not we can re-take it in October. I was only studying from the book and taking practice test on the ATI website.

Hi Everyone!

Sorry for the late response!

Although I was not accepted initially, there was room for me after someone dropped and I am currently in ADN 1, taking Fundamentals, Medical Dosages and Pharmacology.

I scored an 80 on the TEAS. My classmates also scored an 80 or more. I am not sure about high 70's but it all depends on the total scores of all the applicants.

If you are not accepted, I would definitely retake the TEAS (that was my 2nd option if I was not accepted).

If you have not scheduled an MD appointment, I would and ask them to test your titers to MMRV, Hep B. This will help so that you will have all your medical records ready when you are accepted.

Everyone, stay encouraged. It is very difficult for the nursing schools right during COVID but ultimately it is worth it!

Have you heard anything back yet?
