Hey, anyone is planning to take the TEAS for the fall 2021 nursing program at WCC? Is there anyone who took it this year? How difficult it is to get to the program? How many people applied this year and how many got in?

Any info would be appreciated!

Hi!

I intend on applying for the Spring 2021 nursing program at WCC. although, with all of the chaos going on I'm wondering if anything pertaining to the TEAS or program itself is being altered.

Anyone in the same boat?

I completed my TEAS remotely at home on Saturday October 10th. I scored an 80 cumulatively. I wish I had studied English Grammer & Spelling more due to how poorly I scored on that section. The Reading, Mathematics and Science part I scored 82 and up. I am now waiting for the an email to confirm acceptance, which will be 2 weeks from the exam date. Most likely, I will email the nursing department today and await a reply by tommorow. I will update the chat with my results.

I took mine on 14th. This waiting is killing me! Did you get any respond yet? I think we might get the result next month. Hopefully we can all get in.

I emailed Joan and she replied that the Nursing Department will be emailing the  acceptance letters.

I have been trying not to think about it much so I wouldn't drive myself crazy LOL.

From what the TEAS packet states, November is the month for replies.

I do pray we both get it in❤

What email did they send it from?

It's from Norma Katz. Don't worry, you will get in too!

Karen what was your score? I will be taking TEAS in march and I am terrified! Congrats!

Do you guys think they only make decision based on the TEAS score?

They base admissions solely on your TEAS scores.

I got 82. Do not underestimate the English section. I only got 61 on the reading section, even though I though it was easy when I took the exam. I got 100 on both math and English, and 83 on science. Try to do best as you can on the TEAS. That is the only thing determine if you get in or not.
