Hi, I am a graduate of WNC 2nd courser last April 2004. I was one of the first batch of 2nd coursers-non medical group. What experience do you want to know? I hurdled successfully series of exams from NLE to CGFNS, IELTS and NCLEX. I got my visa last week and Im hoping i could leave the country early next month.

What I have heard about WNC is they conduct classes only on weekends. Minor subjects are in modules and major subjects are the ones tackled in class. This is really convenient for those who have work on weekdays.
Thank you. Its been two years since I graduate and there might have been revisions in their program. Im afraid i might give you wrong information. Its better if you contact the Nursing office of WNC(tel. no. 034-4344561)so that you can get first hand information. What gemini star mentioned is quite true...that is applicable for the working group. They have their duty on weekends and lectures are done after office hours (5:30 pm down) during weekdays. CLMMRH, TDH, BOLMSH are the affiliated hospitals of WNC as far as I know. With regards to house rental, i think u can find affordable room for rents around the vicinity. But im not sure how much...Hope this helps...

west neg??? what i can tell you is that we all had a hard time at the PRC when we filed for the exam...i really don't know about what is behind the West Neg and the PRC. the latest 'news' that i heard was last june, 2006, all graduates of west negros was requested to pack up their things on their first day of examination (medical, nonmedical and regular graduates). if you're from western visayas, you might have heard this rumors.
passing all those exams, IELTS, CG and NCLEX is easier as to reasoning to PRC people why you're worthy to take that local exam.
anyway, good luck.

WNC already took care of that problem. All WNC graduates must take their NLE at Manila centers rather in Visayas. Actually, the said issue only gained more popularity for the school making a lot of students to enroll there.

2nd coursers etc.? My advice is to take BSN at Riverside College if you plan to study in Bacolod City. It's affiliate is the Riverside Medical Center. So far, no issues are fired at Riverside from the PRC. The Chairman of the BON is an ex-Dean of the College..hehe. You won't get frustrated or have a difficult time with the PRC.
ustrated or have a difficult time with the PRC.
