west ga tech acceptance

Published

hi all!

i wonder how many of us have just applied to west ga tech RN programs, in waco or la grange? also, i wonder what you all have heard about when we might hear one way or the other.

i have a 3.45 gpa and got a 98 on NLN. i'm still worried that may not be enough with my low gpa.

good luck to all!

I just applied too. They told me we would hear back within 6 weeks. My NLN was a 96 and my gpa is 3.57.. Im worried too!

My sister got in, passed and graduated from the lagrange location. I dont think her scores were that good.

i'm not sure about the teas. i got the kaplan study guide for nursing exams and did well on my nln. i'll definitely get the study guide for the teas if i have to take that to get into the newnan program.

I also applied! I have an overall competitive selection score of 95.69... What about yall?

I got my acceptance letter today!!! I'm so excited! I could not believe it! Can't wait to start in Jan. I will be taking Micro and Psy 2103 this fall.. How about y'all?

Hey!! I am currently about to finish up my 2nd semester at West Ga Tech Waco campus!! With our cohort, they didn't go off GPA... it was 60% NLN score and 40% score from the "required classes" (psychology, anatomy I&II, labs, math, english) If you had A's in all those you got the full 40%. I had all A's, 3.0 GPA (had to work it up from a 1.5 from a rough semester at the UWG right out of high school), and an NLN score of 93.5 & was accepted!! Good luck! If you have any questions I'd be happy to help! I know waiting is the hardest part :/

congrats mrutledge2559! Which campus did you apply for?

Thank you! Lagrange campus.

Hey , I know this thread is old & there's some things which might have changed but I would like some insight about the program , I currently go to Uwg & wasnt accepted into the nursing program so I'm exploring my options & think I want to go for my ADN at one of the locations & bridge back at uwg or just continue there .I have a 3.0 in those areas & I have to take the teas ,any suggestions/advice? I would greatly appreciate it!
