My current GPA is a 3.83 although I expect it to drop before I apply to nursing schools. I was wondering if anyone has some insight on whether my better option would be a local ADN program or West Coast University (OC campus)? I don't think I will get into any BSN programs because of how impacted they are/my stats. My eventual goal is to become a nurse practicioner. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
If you apply to WCU you will 100% get in with your GPA. The only bad thing about WCU is the price tag. However, there’s no waiting, no lottery and it’s accelerated so you will have your BSN quickly. It all depends on what your priority is... I decided to attend WCU after not getting in my first cycle of application ( I can’t stand the lottery system) and time was money for me. Goodluck!
Girl WCU is the best choice. You even get your CNA after your first term in nursing core. I would say this is the fasted route..it is pricey..but education is a business in America..so you’re gonna pay regardless. I say go for it..you’re gonna get in. And you can even get your NP there too. The admissions process has been a breeze for me. DO IT!

how do you like WCU? I am planning on going as well. what is the average GPA to get in? do you happen to know which pre reqs is needed? I did all my pre reqs for national university to get into the BSN program, but they are so backed up, and are doing some shady stuff right now, and not giving out info that the potential students need to know.
