west coast university north Hollywood

Published

Hi everyone! I'm doing my nursing prereqs at my local community college. I have a bachelors (from a CSU) in another field but I want to become a Family Nurse Practitioner in the future so the first step is becoming an RN. My gpa is quiet low, (2.2-2.3) so I'm retaking some courses along with my prereqs to boost it up to atleast a 2.5. My question here is for anyone especially those who went to WCU the north Hollywood location..

1. How was it? did you like it?

2. How much did you end up paying? will the courses I took at my CSU for my bachelors make my price cheaper?

3. If I go to WCU can I go to a CSU for my FNP?

4. Any tips or advice?

Have you done a search for WCU on this site, using the search function at the top of the page? There is a lot of material available, including many posts about the cost of a WCU education versus its worth, particularly when the loan payments become due in spite of the person leaving the program. There are better options for those who have competitive records.

I'm on the same boat as you, almost exact same situation with the csu and gpa and going to a local cc. I was wondering if you found anything out about WCU?
