West Coast University Dallas

Published

Hi guys! I'm interested in hearing about people's experiences in the West Coast University program in Dallas. I know that people have made topics about this in the past, but they were pretty old and I imagine a few more cohorts have gotten through the program by now. :) Are you enjoying the program? Positive experiences? Regrets? Is the course load manageable?

And yes, I am aware that this program costs an exuberant amount of money. I'm willing to pay it and I understand what I'm getting into financially.

I have two friends in the program right now; one of them is fixing to graduate. They both love it!!!! One has a 1 year old and is planning a wedding, and she makes great grades, so the work load must be manageable. I am also looking into the program. I take the teas on July 29, but don't think I'll make above an 80, which is not competitive enough for TWU. This is a second degree, career change for me, so I want to be done ASAP. I've had a lot of fights with those close to me about the tuition..... But from what my friends tell me, it is worth it! I am scheduled to go to an information session on July 8th, so I hope they are able to answer a lot of questions.

Glad to hear the course load isn't too bad. I went to a information session last week and got a ton of info. I also took my hesi and did really well. It was just on math, reading , vocab and english. It was pretty easy. This only thing that worries me is that the admission person said that clinicals can be ANY day of the week including weekends. I'm playing on working on the weekends to support myself while I'm in school so that has me worried! I have some transfer credits too so I'm going back next week to get that settled.

Awesome! Did you get information about tuition? How many transfer credits are you going in with?
