Hello All,
So since it's Cal state application time, I've found myself in a pickle. I have All my pre reqs done and my gpa is a 3.0 but since all the cal states are so impacted I've thought maybe I'll give west coast university a look. I went to there informational session and thought wow 2 and a half years to get my BSN. Sounds good to me sign me up. I'm going to take my HESI in November, the only thing that is my main concern is the cost to go there. They don't really tell you how much it will be to attend. The classes i would Have to take my first term would be G.E. capstone, FYS, pathophsiology, cultural pluralism . With those classes does anyone know how much the program would be??

$143,918. See West Coast University - Tuition and Fees. If you have some transfer credits, it would be less.

Please do not go there. The debt is not worth it. Apply everywhere!! If you have to, move for school. I am so serious. What quality of life will you have when you have to work only to pay off your student loans? Also when you start there, you still have to take their required classes so you don't even get into core nursing just yet. You essentially waste your time. Have you considered community college? It may not be your first choice but it takes two years to complete and you have the opportunity to work. You can even work and go to school online for your BSN. That's what I'm doing now and I have no regrets.
