A while ago, a group of Italian doctors and nurses stripped down to their skivvies for a calendar in order to raise funds for, and generate public awareness of, the need for cancer research.
No Brad Pitts or George Clooney types. Just a lot of overly tight tighty whities and expanded bellies drooping precariously over boxer short elastic waists. The best picture from the article (Cancer Research in Boxers: Italian Doctors Strip to Reveal Funding Shortfalls - SPIEGEL ONLINE) is the two doctors studiously examining an MRI, while clad in their unmentionables. The nurses appear in the pictorials as well but their faces are not shown - just their backs as they sit in their bras and panties.
So the question is: Would you have appeared in the calendar for such a worthy cause? I'm sure our patients subscribe to the old adage," Turnabout is fair play."
Well, would you???
Would YOU do it, OP?(Forgive me if I missed it. Everything is becoming a blur, and as Davey Do pointed out, I have no attention spa
No, I would not pose. Would you? Forgive me as well if I missed an earlier response from you, if there is one. After a thread reaches 4 or 5 pages, it's a chore to keep track.
Like doctors don't see bodies all day long, anyway? I can promise you that them seeing me would be no thrill (not even a cheap one) for either me or the doctors !
Undeniably a valid point, however, doctors typically see people with whom they have no social or "work" relationship beyond an annual physical. You'd have to face the doctors everyday afterward. A whole different dynamic in play. However, I hasten to add, if the doctor participated (as they did in the article), everyone's in the same boat, so-to-speak. Mutual awkwardness effectively negates any gloating!
Either way, I find the whole scenario fascinating from a purely psychological perspective.

Heck yeah! *stripping as I type* ... great article, fantastic perspective.
I just looked at the photos attached to the article......VERY BLAND pics. Not titillating in the least. Mildly humorous.
It being European/Italian, you'd think it would be a little racier, from the reputation of Europe being 'looser' than Americans.....
Wonder what the SWEDES would do? !!!!!
