I did not see any thread on May 2010 support group, so I decided to form a forum for us to share our view, plan and how to pass for the test. As we all prayer for each other to continue with this journey I wish everyone who is taking NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-LVN/LPN.

Here is the plan and we have a 2 +month.
Finish the NCBSN online NCLEX review
Do the whole Saunders CD (fourth edition)
Do the Exam cram CD (1000 questions)
Do the NCLEX 3500 and with all the prayers to pass this NCLEX.
Do the kaplan online course

On the exam cram, I've seen several people saying this helped them with their study which one would you recommend? The one with a red and black cover or the one with yellow and blue. Looks like they both have the cds.

I have a 4year old with me too at home. I can study for about 3hrs at a stretch and when she starts to disturb, I go back to answering questions. I know it' not easy but we got to do it! The Lord will help us.
hi to all my co- May test takers!!! so happy to see that I am not alone this May. :) For the past one month I keep struggling when I am going to take the test, I am looking for the best date, and then its like a sign when i saw that the two test centers I want, theres still have the date I want :)), I like the date because it's my birth date, same day when I was born 22 years ago , :)) Godbless to us ALL MAY TEST TAKERS!!!!
I'm taking the nclex pn may 4th at 11am. Linda silvestri actually came into our school and did an nclex review with us for two days. I'm going to be doing her cd the saunders cd, studying the saunders book, a kaplan book and memorizing lab values. I did well o. The eri and nln exams so i'm hoping that is some indication that I'll do well on nclex. Good luck to all may nclex takers!

I have kids too.. I find it effective to study while my kids are asleep... Good luck to us.... Time depends... I am happy.. I am not the only one in this situation in this group...
I AM ONE OF THE CANDIDATE WHO JUST SCHEDULED TO TAKE THE EXAM IN MAY! MAY 3RD IT IS!!! AS OF THIS MOMENT I FEEL LIKE IM NOT READY TO TACKLE THIS NCLEX PN TEST AGAIN FOR THE 3RD TIME BUT IM HOPING THAT 3RDS A CHARM. I JUST NOTICED MAY 3RD TAKING THE TEST FOR THE 3RD TIME! LOL!

i know exactly how you feel! I have a 4 year old as well and in between i try to get things done!! Its not so easy! Im on my 3rd take this may and i just totally feel im not ready again...im afraid to not pass again!!!!

I can understand because I have been there. I have 2 kids.The older one is 7 and younger 4. I took nclex rn last month for the 3rd time without making it. I am up on my feet preparing again for the 4th. My hope is in God. I dont wanna be negative at all because my passion is in nursing. I can make it and I will and we will !!!!!!!!!
