what does your weekly life schedule consist of being a nursing student including class, study, home life please?:uhoh3:

Thank you everybody for your responses. It lets everybody know how much you have to give to this profession from the very begining and what you all go through to get your degrees. Keep them coming everybody.

Hi everyone!

I'm a 29 year old part-time BSN student. My actual nursing program is 2.5 years - just started the program this fall.

I work full-time & go to school

Monday - work 8-4:30, home study, read, eat dinner, study, study

Tuesday - work 7:00-3:30, study at school 4:30-6, class 6-9

Wedneday - work 8-4:30, study, go to lab to practice skills, go home and study

Thursday - same as tuesday,

Friday - study, read, dinner with family, spend time with boyfriend

every other sat & sun is clinical from 7:00-1:30, home to study

the off weekends are for studying and trying to find some quality family/boyfriend time, laundry, etc - oh and the occasional nap.

MWF:

Morning: get kids (I have four) to school

School: 9A-11A

Study

School 12p-1p

Home by 1:30

Study til supper : 5:30 or so

Take one hour off for my family time

7:30p-12:00a Study

Sleep

T,R

Morning: rush kids to school

School 8:00a-11:00a

11:30p Home

Study til supper

one hour off

Study till midnight

Sleep

T and R classes will change next week. Clinicals start; we have to be there @6:30a-12:30p So I will get home about 1:30...study till dinner, one hour off, you get the point. LOL

Specializes in ICU.

MON- no work OR school, ie the best day of the week (although it is spent studying, cleaning, yard work)

TUE- class 9:00-5:00

WED- work 7am-7pm, come home...too exhausted to do anything productive- go to bed

THUR- clinical 6:30-1:30

FRI- class 8:30-6:00

Every other weekend- work 7am-7pm, if not working.. writing papers, studying, and all other busy work that NS throws my way
