Hi guys. i am currently looking for an 8 week online microbiology summer course that i can take online that requires no prerequisite and will able to tranfer to schools like CSU stanislaus and schools in california. please and thank you.
To be honest it wasn't really hard, just time consuming. It was also writing intensive. If you decide to take it just make sure you read and participate in the discussions early and not last minute like I did. Also make sure you begin the labs in a timely matter just incase something goes wrong.
Are the labs all "virtual".... Or am I going to have to get a dead frog from someplace?
Where the test difficult? I know I shouldn't be freaking out ..... I just really need an A in this class! .... Plus I'm taking the same professor for anatomy and physiology 1.... So I want to make sure she doesn't make it impossible to earn an A.

I want to say you will have to conduct 2 physical labs where you grow bacteria (very easy). The rest will be from the lab manual. She's a stickler when it comes to citing anything you write. Just make sure you follow her instructions exactly. You will do fine!
I took 11 hours total when I took micro in the summer and I was so busy with my other courses that I completely missed a lab where we had to culture bacteria. I received a 0 on that lab and still passed the course with an A (very low A).
