Tweety glad you got your money back

NJ22 that's a lot of spam calls, I tend to get them only sporadically

Dianah I remember bushambo

Stars I find financial and technical stuff gets my anxiety going too

Ado glad she is calmer now, hope the case manager helps smooth the transition home

Work was fairly good yesterday, have a weekly side project that took a bit more time than expected a long with a new case, but otherwise things were reasonably calm

After work went and did all the grocery shopping and exercised, all fairly ordinary.  Still working on the architectural tour with the gay group.  Has proved more complicated to organize than I had expected.  Thankfully it looks like we're almost done.

Today should be pretty calm, nothing unusual going on during or after work

Going to be a bit cooler today, in the mid 60s

Exploring budgeting options. I HAVE TO do something, but it is making my stomach all tight and also jumpy! Yet, I persevere in small ways and snippets of times, because I GOTTA! It is 'The Treadmill of Life' and I have yet to figure out the speed or incline degrees. It has to be something fairly easy so I don't crap out of the process, OR on myself!

I saw a box turtle when I took Tinker out a while ago. I just think they are so cool. When I worked at the museum in Nashville, I had several I used in the "Animal Shows" I would do twice a day. I was "The Animal Lady" ( actually The Animal Room Curator)  and gave Educational, Informative, and Fun public shows for whoever was at the museum at the time the shows were done..... 'cause if ya wanna hold 'em or touch them, it was the place to be! I had one box turtle that I called "The Old Man" because he had obviously been through and survived a LOT! He was either in a fire and/or he was investigated very closely by some thing that wanted into his shell.....you could see around the edges of worn areas (tooth marks) around his shell, and the fact that he had truncated toes on his feet, plus he was pretty blase' about dealing with people, since they weren't as mean or INTENT as other animals.

Got the dishes done. Have one load of laundry to fold (Nannie's stuff), and a very large load to put in the dryer.....my sheets, my clothes, and all that good stuff. Blah. Then in about 3 hours I get to go pick up Nannie at daycare ( 😝 be still my heart).

Better get to it so I don't end up forgetting it until much later, which I OFTEN do!

Hope all is well with the rest of youse!

Hello all!

Compared to yesterday's sloth-fest, I got up and dressed and out the door at a more decent hour, to get my fasting labs drawn, and then to get a few things at the grocery store.  Came home, made salad and ate lunch/watched murder mystery with dh (we are watching Brokenwood Mysteries, set in New Zealand).  Then I made the Chicken-Tomatillo soup, and while it is sitting, we practiced for Friday night's program.  Our band and a couple of other additions (another guitarist and a mandolin player) are joining us, for a private function at a local Baptist church.  It should be fun, but we don't want to embarrass ourselves, so we still practice together, besides the large group practice!

Not much else going on.

Have a good evening!
