Was a better day at  work yesterday, still busy in the morning but slowed down by the afternoon.  Hopefully today will be the same, but you never can tell

Quiet evening too, just ran an errand and exercised.  Was fairly warm, up to 80

Tonight will do the grocery shopping and then go for walk before the vestry meeting, which will be in person this time

Will be a cooler day today,  in the mid 60s

Good morning!

Joe, glad you had a better day and quiet evening.  Hope today is the same.

Dianah, what do you put in your reuben's.  I have made it a few times with tempeh.

My pasta dish with three kinds of mushrooms turned out really good.  I got shiitake mushrooms on sale but the sure were expensive.   

I have to go pick up some of Slowbro's eye drops which is not convenient but I need a supply to give to my brother in law who will watch him while I'm at my parents this weekend.  I might stop off at the Asian store and pick up some natto, my latest obsession.  

Best friend has offered to buy me dinner for my upcoming birthday and I chose an Italian place I like with outside seating.

Got up (reluctantly) at 9 AM, and now I am having coffee before I get dressed and leave for my Dr's appt.

After the appt, I will come back and get Nannie up (early for her, too) before I go out again to get my nails done.

Tweety, how 'upcoming' is your birthday?

My birthday is Friday...64 years old...Sheesh.  I'm not about birthdays though.  They've never been a big deal, but I'm not turning down a free dinner.  LOL

One tech that found it very odd I was working my birthday and that I don't make a bit deal out of it said she would bring me in something.  But she was fired for her bad attitude yesterday.  Oh well.......

I use Jewish Rye bread, saurkraut (usually Libby's, in a jar), monterey jack cheese, 1000 Island dressing, and vegetarian corned beef slices.  Makin' me hungry talking about it!

Dh's back is acting up, sounds like a pinched nerve w/sciatic nerve pain down left leg.  We are watching it.  First time for this.  Ain't gettin' old grand??
