Work wasn't too bad, although having both Friday and Monday off has made scheduling tasks without putting too much on any 1 day tricky

After work did the grocery shopping, then went to the candy shop with the gay group.  Was as bit disappointed that only 6 people showed up, but it was interesting, the owner showed us many different and some quite interesting types of candy.  May have to stop there again

Sent flowers to my church friend D, she's in the hospital after a cat bite got infected, and she needs surgery for debridement.  Hope she gets discharged soon

Today have a meeting at work, which I hope doesn't cramp my schedule too much.  After work will meet the over 50 group for a monthly restaurant get together, hopefully traffic is good  as it's pretty far south.  Also have to follow up with the cat sitter

Will be a cooler day today, in the mid to upper 70s, no rain expected

Another day in the upper 80's, and with the high humidity it will 'feel like' 92 degrees. Other than the never-ending laundry, and dishes, I haven't planned anything for today. Tomorrow I have an early appt for my nails (9:30 AM). SiL will be coming by around noon or so, so she and I can 'instruct' the new girl how to take care of Nannie. I don't know if I'll stay in my room and putter, or go out somewhere....though I don't know where I'd go. Anyway, life goes on, and on, and on!

Hello all!

We did a couple errands today, after I got a nap in (didn't sleep well last night).  Picked up a few groceries.  Just got in from walking at the park (GOT to kick myself to keep doing this!!).  It was 75 degrees, with a nice breeze.  I am trying to get back some strength, lost when I had the recent cold.  Plus, as I lose weight I want to replace Fat with Strong. 😄 😄

Dh just finished the online jam.  We will have leftovers tonight, as there are some Vietnamese sauteed vegetables, and also two of the stuffed portobello mushrooms left from yesterday.  Also there is more of the low-carb "pie" left.  I was very impressed with this recipe, reminds me of key lime pie but easier and low-carb!  32 oz greek yogurt (I used 5%), and one large package of sugar-free jello (your choice of flavors.  I chose lime).  Mix all, microwave 1.5 minutes, mix again and then microwave 1 min.  Pour into pie pan and refrigerate X 2-3 hours, then eat!  It was yummy!  The problem becomes, if it is yummy I eat too much of it!  LOL!
