Tweety glad the appointment was quick

Stars hopefully with some help you can come up with a plan

NJ22 I probably have a bunch of stuff in storage that I could part with as well

Ado I'm glad the trip has gone well so far

Work was a bit busier than expected, had another new case and had some stuff to do for the person who left.  Didn't have any extra time to help anyone today

After work stopped by the library and bank and exercised.  Outreached the body shop to discuss when they need to order the new bumper and when to bring the car in.  It will have to be in for 2-3 days, the longest I've been without a car in a long time

Today have grocery shopping after work, but otherwise should be a quieter day

Will be cooler thankfully, up to the upper 70s, with only a little rain

Well, I am up, and Nannie is up and finishing off her breakfast. It is supposed to rain today, so I am not sure I will take Nannie with me to the doc's office. She will have to wait in the waiting room if I do take her along, because I'm not going to be able to talk frankly with the doc if she is in the exam room too! Have to leave in 1/2 an hour, so I will decide at the last minute if she will come along or not.

Nannie napped while I went to my appt. and was still sleeping when I returned. Started a laundry before I left and put it in the dryer when I got back. Yes, her bedding was wet AGAIN, as were the clothes she took off and the other clothes she put on without pull-ups or pads on, at some point during last night or early this morning. 🙄

The doctor said that he wasn't going to do a blood draw on me today because the last one I had  six months ago "was so perfect as to be boring"! 😋

Anyway, my problems have nothing to do with any health problems. Well, yes, the gypsies come and go, but I generally can take care of them with my regular meds and the OTC patches or roll-on stuff. My problems stem from tension, irritation, and the tedium of being overloaded with Nannie-life and barely having any of my own stretches of time to myself, and no other $ income but for my SS check and the paltry $100/mo for Nannie-care. At least I don't have to pay rent or a mortgage!

But we all know all that. Still, keep on praying for that MACKERAL to happen! I am ready for some positive changes!

Having a very irritating day. I took the pickup to the demo garden and forgot my watch, gloves and name tag. And I was late because I was on phone with Apple trying to troubleshoot my very slow laptop. Then the garden manager announced that"  we" moving 3 more roses, even though the ones that got Moved last month are still recovering. And there are pests all over them. At least I got out of laying sod. And I left without the watermelon plants I meant to bring home for dh. So I gobbled a bowl of Raisin Bran for lunch, loaded up the dogs and headed back to the garden. And was nearly t-boned twice by inattentive drivers. And waited 1/2 hour at the coffee stand.

Small issues, but they added up. We got second place at trivia last night. So yay for youngest ds and me and his knowledge of indie music.

we are going to pick up teriyaki and drive to the beach for some wave therapy.

Stars, I'm sure helps helpful to consider housing as part of your stipend.  Hopefully the financial troubles will iron out.  Definitely sell what you can. You're going to downsize one day anyway.   Too bad you're not online with something like Facebook Market place.  I know several people that have had success with finding things and selling things there.

J22, little things do add up for an annoying day.

I didn't think I was in charge today but I was.  We all said "we all have great staffing today!".  I said, "no we don't have great staffing, we have adequate staffing that we are supposed to have every day".  Why do we celebrate when we have normal staffing and aren't short staffed?

Apparently on another floor the Assistant Manager took an assignment but still had to leave at her scheduled 16:00 off time and was unwilling or unable to stay past that time (maybe due to childcare).  They knew this all day but then my manager said at 3:30 pm "you have to send a nurse there now".  It's as if they said "look Tweety's. having a good day and is a free charge, lets screw him and his unit".  Anyway, I volunteered to go but was in the middle of a blood transfusion and the patient wasn't doing to well so I made them wait with a curt "I'm not leaving my patient right now and just can't drop what I'm doing".   Not long after I got on the other unit I heard a rapid response called on that patient.  She's okay.  Also apparently as soon as I left, they decided that was a good time to slam my remaining coworkers with ER patients.  They forget we're stressed out people with feelings and fatigue.

I actually floated to step down and they gave me four easy patients, no drips and the remaining of the day was okay until one patient decided to have some diarrhea in bed at shift change.  LOL

Sorry for the rant.
