Dianah thankfully the valve got replaced yesterday morning.  The heat is included the in the rent

Work actually was busy yesterday, with a complicated case at the end of the day which took a lot of calls

Thankfully I felt well enough to get everything done.  Put on a mask and did the grocery shopping.  Decided against dinner with the church group yesterday or dinner with the over 50 group today

Has a lot of difficulty sleeping last night, had to take some valerian.  Thankfully the headaches improved, I realized when my nose starts to burn and itch I tense my muscles, which was causing most of the pain.  

Wasn't sure I'd be able to work today but after showering and such feel better

Going to be another unusually warm day in the mid 40s

G'day.

Garden variety day.  I worked the floor with five patients and got one post op admission.  

The gutter people were a no show today.  Supposedly the stucco project is still on for Friday as I got a call about that, but I'll believe it when they see it.  I sent them a blistering note about them being a no show yet again and asked them to stop scheduling appointments if they aren't going to come and to please call me.  I'm going to have to be "that customer" and get Karen on them and ask to speak to the manager/owner.

hi. didn't do much today. I got caught up watching the confirmation hearing for RFK jr. Then, dh and I took dd out to lunch at a greek restaurant. I had lentil veggie soup and a Caesar salad.  it was quite good. we ran a few errands : dropped off the old TIVO at the electronics recycling and some old garden chemicals at the toxic waste place. I came home determined to fill a donate box and fell asleep with 2 warm pups in my lap. It was very sad to hear about the plane/chopper crash in DC. I've flown in and out of there and it feels really tight, wedged in between the national monuments and the Pentagon. 

Tomorrow I'm going to the Master Gardener class. Apparently I am to talk up my section at the demo garden to recruit some of the newbies to work with me. I have already talked to one gal who seemed quite interested. 

Joe, that was thoughtful of you to stay away from the group while feeling under the weather. 

Tweety, I think it is good to be assertive towards the repair people. I tend to either be too passive or come as really snarky. You are paying for their services though. 

Dianah, I bet even a little rain was nice It hasn't rained here in over a week. Still clear and cool, perhaps snow over the weekend.
