Hi! Anyone applying to Weatherford College Nursing program this Spring??
Yeah WC is pretty much my backup plan but anyway I can get in I will take! Working at the hospital has it perks though too because if I go for my associate RN then they pay for the entire program and then when I go back to get my BSN then they pay for it since it is continuing education!!! If I go directly to BSN then I have to fork out a decent amount of money that I don't have!! So are you going to be going to Brookhaven or UTA in the Spring?!
I work at a hospital as well. They are partnered with El Centro but I am still applying to nursing schools the old fashioned way. I don't want to be committed to work anywhere where I graduate, for fear of less compensation. Id like to keep my options open.
The deadline for applications is Wednesday!! After that its just a waiting game :)
Deadline is tomorrow!!!
Ill be counting down the days after that. Id be happy as an alternate, cause it can always lead into a offer! Im excited just being at the point where Im actually able to apply to nursing schools....its an accomplishment being at the point I am now. And I plan to take more courses this Fall.
Kudos to us all for making it this far!! :-)
Yeah I have to go up there tomorrow to turn in my packet!!! And yeah then the count down is on :-) Does anybody know when they will be sending out the acceptance letters?! I also think it is an accomplishment just being this far and I will be happy even as an alternate but even if not then I know what I need to do to get in as I am retaking a couple of classes in the Fall to raise my points if necessary! Making it this far is an accomplishment for me because a year ago I never thought I would make it this far!!!!!!!

brittrb,
Congrats!! Im happy for you!! I too am applying for UTA in January. Ideally going straight for my BSN would be nice, but I applied at WC and El Centro as my back up plans.
