Wearing scrubs to CNA exam in Florida?

Published

Hi there, I'm preparing to challenge the CNA exam here in Tampa, FL. I'm going to take the exam at Florida Med Prep in Largo. My question for everybody is, should I wear a proper uniform (scrubs, shoes, etc.) to take the exam? I remember reading a preparation article a few weeks ago on what to do before the exam (of course I can't find it now) and I remember it stating to wear proper scrubs and whatnot. Just wondering if this is true, I haven't been able to get a hold of anybody this week at Florida Med, so I figured I'd ask the experts in the mean time.

With all the studying I've been doing, it's crazy that my biggest worry is what I'm wearing! :chuckle

Thanks in advance!!

That's pretty awesome, not gonna lie, how clever! That's a really good thought, I think I may just do that! :yeah:

Tomorrow I get to go looking for scrubs, should I go for all solids, or maybe a slightly colorful top? I don't want to go too over the top you know!

Only worry about nice scrubs when you get hired (and pass of course). The scrubs I wore to the test were from the thrift store lol.

Yeah, I kinda feel that way. My biggest concern on scrubs is comfort since I'm not used to wearing them and I think I'm only buying one pair for now anyways; just for the exam. Hopefully I find something affordable and fitting tomorrow.
