Wear your compression socks when shopping for work shoes

I only wear my compression socks when working. Normally I buy a wider shoe or brand for all of my shoes. With compression socks, my feet are a little narrower and a regular width fits perfectly. This was news to me and I am surprised at how well my new shoes fit. (New Balance Fresh Foam M1080J11)
