WCJC Wharton County Junior College Fall 2014 or Spring 2015

Published

Hi everyone! I am applying to WCJC for Fall '14 and Spring '15. Anyone applied to WCJC in the past? I wonder if I get in for Fall at the Wharton campus, should I defer and try to get in to the Sugarland campus for Spring '15? The Sugarland campus is 30 minutes closer to my house than the Wharton campus is. It'll take me about an hour to get Wharton campus. I am concerned that the Sugarland campus might be more competitive....

Also if you are applying, I'd love to hear GPA's and testing scores? I heard that if you have more prereque's for your BSN, you get more points towards admission. I am taking my HESI at the end of the month and hope to have my application turned in the first week of March.

I'm applying for the fall 2014 also. I live closer to the sugar land but i don't mind getting into the main campus. I think it will be less chaotic

I decided against Wharton, their application process is an unorganized mess. I can't imagine how the nursing program is. I'm going with a different school. Good luck in your journey!

I ended up being accepted to Wharton for fall but as an alternate. But guaranteed spring admission so i'm taking the spring admission

Hey can you tell me what you think about the program? I am trying to apply for lvn at Wharton but I'm also thinking about the rn program I'm really confused wether should I go for rn or lvn then do bridge to rn later

Anyone going to the orientation in July?

I got accepted at Wharton for the fall. I'm going to orientation in July. Just getting anxious, haven't received blue card from Texas BON.

Just got my blue card in the mail. Ready for orientation!

Are you suppose to have the blue card before orientation?

When did you get your finger prints done tru4u?

No but it's important to have it. They won't let you start classes until you have it. I'm still waiting for mine ;/

When did you get your finger prints done tru4u?

Got my fingerprints done the next week after I got the email for fast pass.
