2015 WCCCD Nursing Program

Yes! I plan to apply to start in the Fall of 2015, I had to take A&P II over this semester so I will apply after that. I heard that they wont be doing application meetings anymore. Did you hear anything like that. I called over to the nursing office and asked when the next upcoming application meetings would be and she said that they are about to stop doing application meetings and they will just have u come in to the nursing office to turn in all of you paper work at an appointment time.

Oh cool! I'll be taking my last 2 pre reqs this Fall (Micro and A&P II). Oh wow really? I didn't hear that. Thank u for the heads up! I hope to see ya in the program :-)

How far in advance do you have to have your pre-reqs done? If I finish my pre-reqs at the end of Spring 2015, can I still apply for fall 2015?

@Colleen, I'm not sure. They do have another deadline, that's June 28th. Contact the Nursing Dept for clarity and more info ?

The fall 2015 deadline is 5/15/2015.

I will hopefully be applying for the fall 2015 nursing program. Can anyone tell me do you have to wait to take the hesi test or can I take it soon I just have 1 class I need to take?

As long as you completed A&P 1 and 2 and eng119. U can take it. The next test date is January 16.

I am in the same boat. I am finishing my pre-reqs this semester, Spring 2015. I thought the deadline was May 15 to apply with all of the paperwork? My question is, how are we supposed to take the Hesi when we won't even know our grades because the semester is over May 4th? Do you have any answers? I will be calling the nursing dept. after the holidays for sure.

Hi karen1357 yea I would call. I only have micro and nutrition to take that's why I'm able to take my Hesi this month.
