Hello everyone! I am getting ready to apply to WCCCD's program for the Fall and I am getting sooo nervous. I have not written my essay yet. Any advice on how long it should be? Also, and tips on the reference letters?

I believe my essay was 1 1/2 page long. As far as reference letters, I believe one had to be from an employer. So I used my previous employer and family friend I have since for 33 years (she visited me in the hospital when I was born)
No need to be nervous. If you have done all you can do, just hope for the best and believe that "If you can dream it, you can achieve it." I was in your shoes last September....I am now DONE with my first semester getting ready to move on! I can officially say it does take great effort and determination on your part. It was hard, but not horribly hard (and I still saw my hubby, kids, and I still had a little life to live outside of NS school). Just be organized, and just do it!
It feel great not to be the "new kid on the block". Best, best, best wishes to everyone applying for the fall.
Ahhh, since classes are done, my hubby gave ME the wonderful privilege of COOKING dinner for the family tonight. I will be domesticated for the summer, but come FALL semester....I ain't doin JACK!:roll

Hello RN2B,
It's been a long time, however, think positive at all time. Do not let negative enter your mind. Start writing with an mind set, 'your essay will be great & those who read it will see your potential.'
YOU'LL DO GREAT!
