Ways to study...

Did or does anybody recommen using flash cards to help study with. I find myself adding too much information whenever I do the flash cards and might even make them too hard for myself to answer everything I put on the back. Any suggestions would be awesome.. thanks for allowing your time and comments!!

i actually tend to do the same.

My advice, just put the most vital information on the cards.

i also use small index cards just to limit what i can write on.

good luck

I support that too, index cards are great. We have to condense as much info, and retain the rest of it in our head. I tend to rely on writing too much of it without trying to retain it in my head.

I find myself learning off the cards easier, when they are in simple words. :saint:

Flash cards are great. It comes very handy when you are going to a long trip or something (even commuting back home). However aside from flashcards, I would also suggest you get those all Q & A books (with rationale) and answer them. It really helps even when you just answer 100 questions per day as it gauges your improvement in answering NCLEX-RN questions. :-)
