Hi, I'm a nurse from the Philippines and moved to NYC 3 years ago. I've been an RN in the PH and worked as a ER nurse for a year. I loved it and decided I will pursue that path. I just passed the NCLEX last May 2014, and started working in a Nursing home last August until present. Now I've been promoted as Charge nurse in my unit, Sub acute.
Question,
I really wanted to land a job in the ER but, it's hard to apply for jobs when they require experience(USA). How do you think I could land on my dream job in the ER.
Thanks

get experience here and apply :)
apply internally and externally. it's a dream job for many many floor nurses (whom I used to be), and it really is better although it's a lot busier than anywhere else imo.
