Wayne State Accelerated Program

Hello,

I'm new to all-nurses. I wanted to see if anyone had gotten early acceptance into the CD2 program at Wayne State. I got in :D and wanted to see who else did. What is your background, etc. Also, does anyone else who is currently in this program or recently graduate have any advice/info? Thanks!!

Hey Christinajoy...I got your pm..I don't have the ability to respond privately but I wanted to let you know I didn't know they would be doing interviews?? Let me know if they do interview you and best of luck!

I just got an email about the interviews yesterday. I called and they said I don't have to do one. I think it's good though, it will give people a better chance. Best of luck!! Let me know how it goes. Do you know who you're interviewing with?

I'm interviewing May 15th in the morning. I'm hoping this will be a good thing! Luckily I already did my interview for OU, so I have some practice in.

when and how were you notified of your interview time and date?

I was notified two days ago that they were doing interviews May 14th and May 15th and that I had to sign up for it on my nursing page. It said that the interviews were mandatory. It was first come first serve basis for time. My interview is only 10 minutes long and they are going make a video tape of it....I don't like the idea of that. I counted the slots, I think there were about 40 interviews in the 2 days. But I received a more general email yesterday talking about June interviews which didn't say anything about signing up. I think it went to everyone else. So I must be in the first round of interviews.
