I would choose a different school!!! This school is horrible, unfair & money hungry, not to mention unorganized & the teachers have no idea wth they are doing. But they are quick to tell u they don't care & they are always right!! Never on time, not even to the finals they were an hour late!! Then they say patients that's what nursings about. Yeah well so is being on time!! To bad I'm already in or else I would have went somewhere else & that's what everyone in my cohort thinks, pass or fail. Don't worry you'll get in everyone does!! About 15 ppl failed last quarter. Ppl cried & were distraught then like magic 1/2 of those who failed passed. How they choose who were the lucky ones is beyond me. Not trying to discourage just a heads up!!! Good luck!!

No way.......what term are you in? I've heard this about (from at least a few) almost every nursing school....who knows, I know that its not joke and I know a lot of people mess around dont study etc....good luck...If I dont hear anything shortly (few days) I'm going to register at SAC for chem2 and go to UTHSC (hopefully) or maybe even UIW

They did this with my class. They told us a date and we didn't receive our acceptance letters until probably two weeks later. I was going crazy...lol

did they email first and then you got a letter? I'm dying... Im trying to plan everything out you know, today was the two week ago mark lol

We never got an email I didn't even find out that they were gonna send the letters out late until I called Nichel Hilman.

BSN right? Face to face? Poor lady, she sent an email basically saying "hey dont email me we are working on it", again two weeks ago do you like the school/program etc?

Yes, I am in the regular BSN program. Im sure you know that every school has their complaints about the program that their in. The difference with ours is that the nursing school might be losing their accreditation soon. So many people fail, its ridiculous. Our program is intense and completely disorganized and some teachers are really good and others are horrible. What fails people in our program is ATI... make sure you study ATI, its 20% of your total grade. To answer your question NO, I do not like it... and most students will agree with me but I am in the program already and I'm dealing with ALL the problems of the program. I know you are going to get a bunch of negative feedback, but it is doable. I've met a handful of students that have graduated from the program. Just stick with it, stay positive and ask the upperclassman anything and everything. We know how hard it is and we will be more than happy to help you out with anything.
