Watts School of Nursing June

Published

Wanted to see who else is going to Watts (Mt Olive) starting in June. I just got my acceptance letter today! Wondering who my fellow classmates will be!

ok ok ok .....last night, I was dying when she was talking about that 15 year old that had the baby and put her in the "attict"!!! I gave her the benefit of the doubt the first time she said it but it happened like 5 times!!! How can someone be so educated and still say things like that?

I really thought that if I called her out on stereotyping one more time she was gonna come across the tables at me.....

I heard the attict loud and clear too!

I don't think she even hears herself. Someone needs to monitor her

classes....I can't believe people are actually learning from her.

Who said anyone is learning? How bout we just read the slides at home and skip the class?

So, folks, if you have any overage in financial aid from MOC classes, they won't just

automatically roll it over to Watts like S* told me....you have to get a check

sent to you and then send that to Watts.

Keyna! What!? I thought everything was being done through moc. I feel like they are setting us up! This is crazy.

That's exactly what it feels like!! I'm not getting a straight answer! I think I'm going to have to show up over there or something...to wishy washy on phone and emails!

Hey, SOC folks, have you told Dr. C about what's happening? Chances are she can't do much, but at least she knows to steer the next folks away from your crazy teacher!

I think MOC is handling all the financial aid for Watts, but for some reason, the financial aid that was tagged for MOC classes, they won't transfer any overage straight to Watts.

I don't understand it, I'm just following what the good rev. told me.

And also, that the NC grant doesn't pay out until November, and in November I have to request that a check be written to me for that amount (because it's an overage too) and then send that to Watts.

Keyna,

Getting a refund is easy. You just send an email to the Rev. and he sends in the request. It takes about a week or two to get the check. You just need to let him know how much you are requesting. (the amount in parenthesis on your self-serve account). & your address and student number.

That's what I just did. I didn't realize that they wouldn't just roll it over to

Watts for me. Sh told me I was good until next spring!

Thanks, Rum,

I know to just go straight to the Rev. from now on instead of going through Sh.

So I threw away the letter with the balance info on it.... what's the total we have to pay by 12/9?????
