Wanted to see who else is going to Watts (Mt Olive) starting in June. I just got my acceptance letter today! Wondering who my fellow classmates will be!

Just an FYI for anybody who is lost in this whole molecular biology stuff.... I went and bought Molecular and Cell Biology for Dummies and it really helps make sense of this stuff....waaaaaaaay better than our A&P book does.

Is it a lot of extra reading? Is it in similar order as our book? I guess I have only so much time...do

I spend it on the book and slides or extra material????

There is just no way, that's all I have to say on the matter (cellular matter, that is)!!! This is frickin impossible!

Keyna~ I went and got it because I just wasn't understanding any of it....I just couldn't make sense of it. I've read 2 chapters in this book on the stuff that applies to what we are learning and it makes a lot more sense to me now. I didn't want to keep going if I didn't get it --- I was afraid it would cause me more problems down the road. It definitely is more reading but I think it was worth it...

I can remember even a quarter of it. Once I turn the page....it's gone!!

Do you think the dummies will help you memorize the terms?

I really do like the "dummies" books. I bought Medical Term for Dummies before school started and I think it really helps. I figure the more I see the words the better off I'll be

I'm with you, Kenya, turn the page and it's gone. I was using some of the things on the website from the book and was suprised at how well I did. But, will it help with the test?!?!?

so i just got back from barnes and noble to buy an a & p dummies book. i did not find it at first but instead found "a & p made incredibly visual." since we are working on cell and tissues and such, i decided to look at all the possible books and compared this section. i am a visual learner and this looks like the perfect book for me...

Rum yes I live by the train station in Cary but work in apex till I guess December? Where is your friend located and how much would she charge for part time? I would bring her food and diapers. Thanks!
