Hey guys! I recently passed my HESI! (YAY!) Do I need to submit that to the school or do they already receive the grades?
Also-- does anyone have any advice on how to write the essay? Like, how long should it be?
What are the rates of actually getting accepted?
How long does the admissions process take? Sorry for all the questions!

I went to an information session and we were told they want to know why nursing and why Watts but also what your plan is. Things like how are you going to manage school, what is your support system like, etc. 2-3 pages should be long enough. There is some info on their website about it. I took the HESI A2 this week and am in the process of getting everything else together. I am hoping for a June start but I am pretty sure I am too late for that. I've heard that once you submit everything you will have an answer in a matter of weeks.
I took my HESI a couple weeks ago & now I'm waiting on my reference forms!
I'm also hoping to go in June too!

The big, big thing they want to know about is your support system and what you've put in place to make sure you succeed. Watts does want all its nurses to succeed, but they also want to know that the groundwork is there.
Okay, thank you! Mine's almost 2 pages, is that enough? I don't really know what to say without sounding repetitive.
I think mine was 3, but I've heard of others being super long. You should be ok.
Okay! Do you know what the acceptance rate is?

I got an 86% on the HESI, I have all of my references and I have half of my essay completed. I am hoping to send out my application by the end of next week.
Actually, I don't. I have been told in the past that if you get the background check form after you submit the application that you will most likely be accepted.
Did you get your application in and if so have you heard anything yet? I left a message last week and again this morning asking if there were still spots for summer but haven't heard anything yet.
The student coordinator was out on vacation last week, I believe and supposed to come back today or tomorrow so you should get a call back soon.
Thank you. I spoke to someone last week when the website was down so I did know that she was out. Normally I am not this impatient but time is definitely running out if I am going to be able to start in June. If I can't I can't but I'd sure like to try! I express mailed my complete packet and basically told her I am at her mercy and willing to do whatever it takes to get things done in time.
