Anyone else applying to WSU-Yakima for Spring of 2026? I am applying but am worried that I won't get in because of my cumulative GPA.
I do have a previous B.S. (graduated in 2017), but I graduated with a 2.9 GPA. Though that GPA is low, I completed my 10 nursing prerequisites with a 3.77 GPA (prerequisite GPA) this past quarter.
I also got an 86% on my TEAS. Should I retake them to aim higher?
Also, I have just under 100 hours of healthcare volunteer work (NICU volunteer), and thousands of hours working in a position that was essentially a mental health case manager. My ultimate goal is to become a psychiatric NP in my community, which is Yakima.

Thoughts on my chances of getting in?
