With WSU they go off your experience/volunteer hours and your interview. I have several co-workers who got in the program with a lower gpa than other's who had a high gpa that didn't get in. I would just apply and see what happens. I applied at WSU Tri-cities (spring 2019) and only have a 3.3 - 3.5 range but i'm very hopefully that my many years as and ER tech will help.
So the questions were pretty straightforward. "Are you aware how demanding nursing school is? What is your support system like?" "What qualities do you think a nurse should have?" "What qualities do you have that would apply to being a nurse?" Stuff like that. They will give you an outline and for us the outline was the interview word for word. (That's a hint, prepare, don't just try to "think on your feet"). So my TEAS was a 78, but that's in the 84th percentile, and my gpa was a 3.96! However there are students in my cohort who were in the 3.5 range!
It really depends on how much you talk, but they're very short. I showed up 30 minutes before my interview was scheduled, got called back 25 minutes before my scheduled time, and was done in around 8 minutes. It's really not too bad, just prepare yourself and be early! (They yo attention to when you show up and how you interact with people in the lobby)

Hi there,
I happen to have the same stats as yours (except TEAS was 79). I'm applying to BSN program Fall 2020 Spokane campus.
Did you get in?? And how did your interview go?

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knew of someone getting in with a 3.0-3.3 gpa and what campus did they apply to? I been wanting to apply but I do not think my gpa is high enough to even have a chance? I'm a CNA and have hours of volunteering.
Thank you!
