Does Washington's new grad program care if you have previous RN experience (less than 6 months)?

From the original job posting :

"Work Experience Requirements:  Zero to 6 months of acute care hospital experience required. Over 6 months of RN experience ineligible for program.”

I heard they've sent out all invites, so good luck everyone!

I just got an interview call too. Honestly, thank you for letting me know this. I've been to many final round new grad interviews since June and they always end up hiring internally anyway... Better not to get my hopes too up.

Congrats!! When is your interview? Do you currently work as RN in acute care?

I wonder how many people they're interviewing. I'm also not holding my breath, but it will be a good interview practice.

Hi I am in another new grad program, but very far away from home. My interview is Friday. I don't know if being in another new grad program (less than 6 months tho) will help me or not? With 7 ppl in each round and it being multiple days, I'm guessing a good amount of people.

Best of luck to you. I think you'd have the biggest advantage since you can talk about what you have learned so far in your residency program. If I may ask-- In your resume, did you include that you're currently in another residency program? If so, and they still called you for an interview, I didn't think they care.

I got a call for an interview today around 10am. So, they definitely have not made all the calls yet for interviews like some comments on here state! Don't lose hope, those who have yet to hear back!

I also received a call for an interview. Will be doing mine next Monday.

Hi! Has anyone interviewed yet and how did it go? Mine is on Wednesday and I'm feeling nervous since this will be my first in person interview
