Was all the work worth it?

Well, my Texas friends.......I did not get into UTMB either. I kind of expected it after the UT notice. Anyway, it did say I was on the waiting list, but doesn't say how long the list is or anything.

I hope the other UTMB hopefuls got in and enjoy your nursing education.

aussie, i am so sorry! :o don't let it discourage you too much (i know this is easier said, but still...). hopefully you will get 'bumped' in from the waiting list, and if not, write letters, make phone calls, and go to interviews. find out what made the difference and charge in with an advantage next go-round. this is a career worth fighting for and it's one worth waiting for. i wish you all the best (and my fingers are STILL crossed for ya!).

I'm really sorry that you didn't get in. I know how you feel about making the alternate list, it's a tough place to be in. Take some time to "regroup". I made an advising appointment to see what I could do to make my application stronger. I'm definitely not giving up.

try other places if you can't get in the front door try the back door or a window

are there other schools in your area...do you have enough credits [usually about two yrs] for schools like respiratory, physical tx, radiology tech

try for lpn and then go for bridge

you have a lot of options good luck
