to all those registered nurses especially to those who are new at applying for nclex, cvs,& cvs. i would advice them to go through the process of applying by themselves. i know it might be overwhelming at first or there are lack of information about it .but there are other avenues to get the right information. especially this website it has forums that will direct you to all your inquiries.too late for me thou i was'nt able to learn about this website before i went through that application center.let me tell you about the exorbitant fees they charge.lack of information they give and the promises they will tell. now i am in a limbo w/ my application being hold for almost a year now. that is not the only problem w/ them.they are now washing their hands off my application, they cannot give my money back. so be warned and don't get fooled like me.
i have to go to their branch in manila to inquire about my application, which if i counted it would be 5 -6 times going back just to get information on my application . they do not give any information through email or by phone.,if i count the months when i applied it will be 9 months now waiting for any progress,i did go to the website of the state that i was applying first then when i first visited them they told me that it would only just take 4 months to process, the only option i did now is to let go of that first application and now i applied for a different state so i don't have to wait anymore and this time i applied on my own. just want to tell my experience so that it would give future applicants ample knowledge to work on their papers and not go through any nclex application center.

Hmmm 9 months is long enough. I think you should report them to the proper authorities. Nursing is hot to the eyes of news reporters right now why not submit a report to abs-cbn or gma after all you want to warn as many people right?
If they really did process your papers and submitted it to the appropriate BON and it is on queue, and you are currently processing your papers now independently to sit for the nclex, you are requesting eligibility to sit for the NCLEX twice, is that even allowed?
Some people have registered with 2 BON's but when actually sitting the exam you can register only once and one BON with pearsonvue. I don't know why agencies can promise CVS any quicker as CGFNS will wait a certain amount of time to receive all documentation as they are the ones that send for it and their timetable is 6 months and if they haven't received it all by then they forward it to BON and NY makes their own judgment on what they have received.

You have to remember that this is a for profit company. And they would say ANYTHING so that you enroll with them.
Seen some of those unscrupulous agencies around and it has troubled me that a lot of people are availing of their services!
In your first post you have mentioned that there is not much information about how to become an RN in a state, wrong. There are so many information. What state are you applying to? Lets say you wanted to become an RN in CA, then you should have gone to California board of nursing website all information needed is there, problem is too much information and it can confuse you (like what happened to me).
By the way, the agency filed the papers for you to sit for the nclex rn exam right? how is it going? can you ask them any updates?
