In India, admission requirements for B.Sc. nursing programs vary among institutions.

Mathematics may not be compulsory for admission to a B.Sc. nursing program, mainly if you have studied Biology or related subjects in your 11th and 12th grades.

However, it's essential to research the specific admission criteria of the institutions you're interested in. Some universities or colleges may have their own entrance exams or admission tests, while others might consider your performance in subjects like Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

Here's what you can do:

  • Research. Look into the admission criteria of various universities offering B.Sc. nursing programs. Check their websites or contact their admissions offices to inquire about their requirements.
  • Entrance exams. Some institutions may require you to take entrance exams like the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) for medical and dental courses. However, since you're interested in B.Sc. Nursing, you should check if any specific nursing entrance exams are required by the institutions you're interested in.
  • Alternative options. If mathematics is required for admission and you haven't studied it in the 11th and 12th grades, you might consider taking additional classes or exams to fulfill this requirement. You may be able to take supplementary exams, placement tests, or bridge courses to meet the admission criteria.
  • Consultation. If possible, speak with academic advisors or counselors specializing in nursing education. They can provide you with personalized guidance based on your educational background and the requirements of the institutions you're considering.

Overall, while mathematics may not be a compulsory subject for nursing admission,  it's crucial to thoroughly research the requirements of the institutions you're interested in to ensure you meet all necessary criteria for admission.

Best wishes,
