wanting to relocate need ideas??

I am a Rn with hospital experience of 18 yr. . I'm tired of living here want to move some where in the US but want to make good money and decent cost of living. Need to consider the place also where I would want to retire to. Need comments about local area. Will make plans to vist said locations this spring to decide want to move some time this summer. need your help as to where this will be.

Florida's once decent cost of living has been eroded by the high cost of property and insurance. Property values are coming down from their inflated prices, but rents and costs are still higher than they were in 2000.

The high cost of insurance because of the hurricanes has also inflated prices and eroded the low cost of living Florida once enjoyed.

Salary are typical of the Southeast.........low.

There are other compelling reasons to move to Florida and I love it here.
